Note On Gel Pen Storage And Care

Gelly Roll is by far my favorite, but I have recently been introduced to this awesome gel pen called Yoobi and I love them. They have all the kinds you want like glitter, neon and pastel, but also the basic colors too. The ink is bold and thick and dry pretty fast. They just make coloring fun again.

I do color with gel pens and pencils. Sometimes together. I did find out that Pen Gear from Walmart isn't the best for small detail. A lot of their pens put out extra liquid when you start using them. The ink can run and if you are not careful you can smear them. You have to wait until they dry. I grabbed a gel pen kit at Hobby Lobby. I have a lot of gel pens, but what I dislike is how many stop coloring in the middle of a spot. I also would live to know if anyone has found a kit with a regular orange and yellow?

@Cora, Feel the same frustration as you do.. I have recently fell in love with the brand name Pentel gel pens. They do have yellow and orange but find myself using marker for those colors 😠

@Cora, Have you tried Yoobi? They have your basic primary and secondary colors along with all the others. And they dry pretty fast for how thick their ink looks. And so far I haven't had to use any of my hacks to get the ink to flow again or show up when blending with another color.
