Instructions
Step 1
Decide where you want your Monstera Leaf doodle on the page and start by drawing the centre of the Monstera Leaf with a curved line.
Step 2
Next, draw the outline of the leaf. We suggest doing this very lightly in pencil so you can erase it later. Don't worry about the leaf splits just yet. We will do that in the next step.
Step 3
Now you have the basic shape of your Monstera Leaf you can draw the outline properly, this time making the traditional Monstera Leaf shape by adding the leaf splits along the sides as you do. You can erase your outline ( just be sure to let the pen dry first if you are using one).
Step 4
The veins of your Monstera Leaf are next. Simply draw different length lines coming from the centre of the leaf. You don't want these too even so that your leaf looks more realistic.
Step 5
Now to draw the holes in your Monstera Leaf. Again, make these more random for a more real looking leaf.
Step 6
The last step is to have fun and color your Monstera Leaf drawing.
