Easy Tutorial For DaFFodil Drawing
A daffodil drawing can turn any plain page into a burst of spring joy!
Daffodils. They’re like little sunbursts on a stem, and just looking at one makes me feel like winter is officially over.
These flowers are bold, bright, and honestly kinda dramatic in the best way. That makes them perfect for doodling in your art projects, bullet journal or junk journal.
If you’ve been on the lookout for a new floral fave, the daffodil doodle might just be it.
You don’t need to be a professional artist to enjoy drawing a daffodil.
It’s all about having fun with the shapes and playing around with your own style. No perfection needed, promise. In fact, the wonky ones are usually the cutest.

How to Draw A Daffodil Doodle

Follow along with our easy Daffodil doodle tutorial. Simply follow each step by drawing the part of the doodle in GREEN.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide where you want your daffodil doodle on the page and start by drawing the top of your daffodils corona (the trumpet like shape). This is an oval shape with a curved or frilly edge.
Step 2
Next, draw the bottom of the corona with a curved shape.
Step 3
To create texture, next add some lines to the shape you created in step 1.
Step 4
Now draw the stamen of your Daffodil in the center of the corona.
Step 5
The petals are next. Did you know a daffodil has six petals? Start by drawing the two top petals, hiding the first slightly behind the corona to add depth to your doodle. Each petal should come to a point at the end.
Step 6
Then draw the next two petals. I made the tip of the third petal look turned up slightly to create a 3D effect, you can copy this or leave it plain.
Step 7
Next, add the last two petals. Hide that last petal behind the corona.
Step 8
Time to draw the stem next. You can also add leaves here if you like. Daffodil leaves are thin and quite straight.
Step 9
The last step is to have fun and color your Daffodil drawing. You can add different tones of yellow, white and even orange.
