Step 1

Start with a circle for the deer’s head. Add two soft curves inside to show where the face will go.

Step 2

Draw two big eyes and a tiny nose in the middle. Then a curved mouth underneath. Add some cute details like spots on the forehead and eyelashes to give your deer character.

Step 3

Leaving enough room for the antlers you will add in the next step, add two pointy ears on top of the head, one on each side, to make your deer look alert and curious. Don't forget to add the inner part of each ear.

Step 4

Now draw the antlers above the ears. Give each side a few simple branches, they don’t have to be perfect!

Step 5

Draw the back of the deer’s body and one back leg bending gently. This will make your deer look like it’s standing gracefully. Don't forget to add a cute bobbed tail.

Step 6

Add the chest and one front leg stretching down to a small hoof.
