How to Draw A Toadstool
Follow along with our easy Toadstool doodle tutorial. Simply follow each step by drawing the part of the doodle in RED.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide where you want your Toadstool to be on the page and start by drawing the stalk. This is a simple shape of two straight lines ( not touching at the top ) and a curved bottom.
Step 2
Next, draw the cap of your toadstool. Ours is short of semi-circle in shape but you can experiment with a taller cap or a different sort of shape. We suggest you do this lightly in pencil until you have the shape you want, so it is easy to erase. Notice how the bottom edge of the cap is lower than the stalk.
Step 3
The area for the gills of the toadstool is next. Draw a curved line that goes from the bottom part of the cap and curves over the open end of the stalk, finishing at the other end of the cap.
Step 4
Have fun drawing the spots on the cap next. You can draw small circles like ours, or again get creative and try different styles, such as bigger spots.
Step 5
Now draw the gills of the toadstool. Simply draw small straight lines in the space you created in step 3. This adds a cool 3D look to your toadstool doodle.
Step 6
The last step is to have fun and color your toadstool drawing in!
