How to Draw A Jam Jar

Instructions
Step 1
Decide where you want your Jam Jar and draw a long thin oblong. This will be the band that holds the material top of your Jam jar.
Step 2
Next, draw the top of the Jam Jar. This is similar to the shape you drew in Step 1 but make it thicker and longer than the first shape.
Step 3
The edge of your rustic material jar covering is next. This can be done with petal like shapes or even zig-zags if you want it to look like the material was cut with pinking shears.
Step 4
The body of the jar is next. This is a rectangle shape but give the bottom curved edges for a more realistic jar.
Step 5
Now draw the label for the jar. This is a square but notice how the top and bottom are slightly curved to make it look like it is stuck onto a curved jar. Add a wavy line above the square. This will be where the jam is filled to in the jar.
Step 6
The last step is to have fun and color your jam jar drawing in! You could be as simple or creative as you like here. It could be strawberry jam, raspberry jam, blueberry jam or even any preserve you think of.
Maybe you want to draw the fruit your jam is on the label too?
