Instructions
Step 1
Decide where you want your Scarecrow drawing and start by drawing the rim of your scarecrows hat. You will want this to curve so his hat looks a little floppy and worn.
Step 2
Next, draw the hat of your scarecrow. We have done a bucket hat shape. It looks a little like a bell.
Step 3
The head of your scarecrow is next. Draw a circle under the hat, then add your scarecrows face. You can be as simple or artistic as you want here. We have gone for simple with two circles for eyes and a curved mouth.
Step 4
The shirt is next. We have drawn this with straight lines that look kind of like the letter T. Traditionally a scarecrow has stick for the shoulders so this shape makes it look like the shirt is hanging from a stick.
Step 5
Now draw the scarecrows tie. This is three simple petal shapes just under where the chin would be.
Step 6
Draw three circles for your scarecrows buttons down the center of the shirt you drew in step 4.
Step 7
To make it look like your scarecrow is made of straw, add some uneven tufts coming out of both the sleeves and the bottom of the scarecrows shirt.
Step 8
Next draw the stick that your scarecrow is supported on.
Step 9
The last step is to have fun and color your scarecrow drawing in!
