How to Draw A Pumpkin Pie Slice
Follow along with our easy Pumpkin Pie doodle tutorial. Simply follow each step by drawing the part of the doodle in ORANGE.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide where you want your Pumpkin Pie slice on your page and draw a open triangle. This will be the top of your pumpkin pie slice.
Step 2
Next, draw a scalloped edge along the open part of the triangle. This is going to be the crust of your piece of pie.
Step 3
The outer edge of the crust is next, with another scalloped line joining the line in step 2. Be sure to finish the sides of the crust with a curve edge on both endings.
Step 4
The body of the pie slice drawing is next. Draw a straight line down from the point of your triangle from step 1. Draw another straight line from the scalloped crust that is the same depth as the first line. This line needs to be at an angle to mimic where the pie would sit in a baking dish. Lastly, join these two lines with a straight line along the bottom of the pie.
Step 5
Now to make the pie look 3D. Copy the shape you created in the previous step but make it smaller so it sits inside this shape. This will be the filling of your pumpkin pie.
Step 6
The last step is to have fun and color your pumpkin pie drawing in. Don't forget the add a dollop of cream on top.
You could also color in different colors to create any type of pie you would like, maybe a berry pie or an apple pie?
